Attendance:

• All lessons will start promptly at the scheduled start time. If you arrive late to the pool, the lesson will not be extended and will still end at the scheduled end time. This ensures each swimmer gets the full duration of their lesson, as each lesson is booked back to back. We encourage you to arrive early when possible.

• If client is absent for their scheduled lesson AND fails to give prior notice of cancellation, all remaining scheduled lessons will be forfeited and made available to other clients. This also applies to “Blue Wave to You” (travel to your pool) lessons.

 

Payment:
We offer a variety of payment options including credit/debit, google pay, and apple pay via our website, in addition to Venmo or cash.

Pay per lesson

• Payment must be submitted within 24 hours of each completed lesson. If client fails to make payment, any additional booked lessons will be cancelled and the applicable time slot(s) will become available to other clients.

Prepaid Packages

• Full payment is required prior to the first lesson.

 

Cancelation/Refund Policy:

• On occasion, Blue Wave Swim School may need to cancel a lesson(s) due to inclement weather (including lightning within 5 miles) or other unforeseen  circumstances (pool equipment failure, personal emergency, etc.). In such circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate a makeup lesson on a  different day. If a makeup lesson can not be arranged, a partial refund will be  processed for any lessons purchased through a prepaid package, equal to the  amount per lesson. This also applies to “Blue Wave to You” (travel to your pool)  lessons.

• All other refund requests will be processed at the sole discretion of Blue Wave Swim School, on a case by case LIMITED basis. There are no guarantees.

Conduct:

• Blue Wave Swim School LLC reserves the right to cancel swim lessons without any refund if the participant is extremely disorderly, inappropriate and/or creates a risk of harm to his or herself or others. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to the following: sexual harassment, biting, scratching, spitting, excessive crying and yelling.

Hygiene

• All swimmers should shower before their lesson. Please ensure that all hair gel/body lotions etc. are removed. This will help to keep the water clean.

• Please have your child use the restroom prior to their scheduled lesson.

 

Medical Conditions:

• Parents/Guardians of the child to be registered must inform Blue Wave Swim School of any medical conditions or risks to the child’s health that may affect their ability to swim, at the time of booking.
